“ Great place with a beautiful location, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Great choice of menu, with delicious rolls. The sushi is very fresh, especially the tuna. I definitely recommend the noodles, they were absolutely on spot and tasty! Many thanks to the waiting staff for being so polite and warm. ”
“ We have been longing for a decent Japanese food in UK for quite sometimes already. Sushi zento didn’t disappoint me! The food was surprisingly good. The sashimi boat was amazing!!! Many kinds of fishes there! Its very fresh and delicious definitely worth to order if you love fish, its a decent portion for only 39. The tempura was very crunchy but moist inside which is perfect!!! It tasted as good as it looked. Their rolls are even better, look at the spider rolls and green dragon roll! I cant express how much I like the rolls! Then we ordered the mochi ice cream to end this amazing dinner. I have to say even this dessert amazed me especially the strawberry mochi ice cream, they even have strawberry bits in it! Highly recommend the food!! They also have very polite staff too Definitely will come again!!!! ”

We tend to go with a mix of sushi, tempura and skewers as all of the dishes are extremely tasty. Really the fact that Sushi Zento attracts Japanese diners tells you a lot since the menu isn't just designed for the Western palette. Instead it combines all of the fresh tastes that you expect along with elements of soy sauce, fermented beans and smoked fish. The service is always excellent and unhurried. Dishes ordered arrive at a measured pace which makes it feel almost like a tapas meal. The only downside is that everyone else takes a bite out of your favourite dish when it arrives as they feel made for sharing. ”

The team who run this restaurant are always so warm and friendly. They are patient with children — as well as adults — and offer an extensive (and perfectly seasoned!) menu. We often gather here for sushi nights. Highly recommend the sushi and sashimi. ”
